Amplifying signal from LM35 Temperature IC?

Hi

I am interfacing the LM35 temperature IC with a PIC, and that works well.

Now I would like to amplify the signal by connecting the LM35 to the quad op amp MAX4044, and the output to the PIC. I am using the non inverting configuration for the amplification. The output from the op amp is now 0!

Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?

Thank you
a.

Hi

I had made a careless mistake: My Vreference into the op-amp was set at 2.5V instead of 0V. Upon amplification the result was way below the lower rail.

All fixed now!
