Is there a direct relationship between the DC bus voltage in an inverter system and the current IGBTs draw/give off when they are switched off/on?
for example an inverter is supplied with 120 VDC and another is supplied with 432 VDC, it seems that in the second system the Gate current needed to turn on/off IGBTs is more. is it true?
Is it due to the parasitic capacitances within the IGBT?
