noob question: resistors needed to hook up LED to 36 volt source...

Thanks sama with your schematic which is correct.

one error (34) should be 3.4 Volts.

sorry, i was wrong.
it should in fact be 36V if no current flow or 3.4V in case current flows, and LED comes up. Other wise if the LED is short, it might land in a big "0".
